The film's comedic brilliance, combined with his exceptional directorial skills, captivated audiences and garnered widespread recognition. "Model Citizens" received accolades at the Gimli 48 Film Fest, where he won Best Film, Best Director, Best Score, and Best Female Actor. The film went on to CBC’s Short Film Face-off where he earned a spot as a top three finalist.

His films have screened at the Canadian International Comedy Film Festival, Just for Laughs Vancouver, CBC Gem, Tiff Bell Lightbox, and many more.

In addition to his directorial and editing skills, Taylor is also an accomplished producer, overseeing the creative and logistical aspects of film production at Folks Films. His dedication to delivering high-quality content and his ability to effectively lead a production team have been instrumental in the company's success. With an impressive list of accolades, including Best Director at the 48 Film Competition and multiple Best Film awards from the Yorkton Film Festival, Gimli Film Festival, Midwest Action Fest, and UWPG FF, his contributions to the film industry are undeniable.
